§ 13-4. Storage of flammable liquids.

  • No buildings, structures, or premises shall be used for the storage, sale or use of gasoline or any other liquid with a flashpoint of 60 degrees Fahrenheit or less where any of the boundaries of the lot upon which such gasoline or other liquid is stored, used or sold are within 200 feet, measured in a straight line, of the nearest boundary line of any building or structure used as a church, school, hospital, home for the aged, nursing home, orphanage, auditorium, or theater, except open air theaters. This provision shall not prevent the use of liquefied gases for domestic heating purposes. Any storage of flammable liquids shall be subject to the requirements of the state.
