§ 2-182. County attorney to immediately defend all actions against the county.

  • The county attorney has the authority to immediately defend any action against the county without first seeking board approval. The county attorney shall advise the board of the action at the next available board meeting (subject to the notice requirements of F.S. § 286.011(8), if a closed meeting is to be used).
