§ 2-258. Use of county funds for employee awards.

(a)

Authorized. The board of county commissioners may provide for expenditure of county funds for employee awards, employee awards ceremonies and functions, and other events relating to the recognition of county purpose in the common interest of the employees and citizens of the county.

(b)

Previous awards confirmed. Awards granted to employees and any expenses incurred for such purposes before the effective date of the ordinance from which this section is derived are confirmed and ratified.
